ProVia

ProVia was started by Bill Mullet in a garage in Sugarcreek more than 40 years ago. Under the Mullet family’s leadership, the company has grown steadily over the past four decades. Today, the company employs over 775 people and is recognized nationally as a manufacturer of top-quality doors, windows, siding and stone products. As a result of its growth, ProVia has become one of the largest employers in Holmes County and is a valued corporate citizen, having been recognized by the HCEDC in 2015 with its Community Investment Award.

In 2016, the company completed construction of a new 300,000 square foot building in Walnut Creek Township and the stone division is now housed in this state-of-the-art facility.

In 2011, ProVia purchased a manufactured stone business located in Muskingum County. After becoming a part of the ProVia family of products, the stone division quickly grew. In 2011, ProVia announced plans to construct a new stone production facility and move the stone operation to Holmes County. In 2016, the company completed construction of a new 300,000 square foot building in Walnut Creek Township and the stone division is now housed in this state-of-the-art facility. The HCEDC was pleased to have the opportunity to assist ProVia in this endeavor by coordinating roadway improvements and providing real estate tax incentives. Larry Troyer, ProVia’s CFO had this to say about the project, “We sought the assistance of the Holmes County Economic Development Council in the early stages of this project. The HCEDC assisted in defining infrastructure needs, coordinating public resources, extending tax incentives and securing grant funding. We’re pleased to have made this investment in Holmes County and appreciate the support we received from HCEDC.”
